A fine period English convex mirror from the Regency era featuring a design of bowed Classical columns around a ribbed outer circumference with traces of the original period gilding, and an ebonized, reeded inner ring.

The outer frame having an unusual rope twist profile united at four points by stylized acanthus leaves within eight bands of gold, surrounding the large period convex mirror plate.

Diameter 21 1/4 inches.
