A handsome English sideboard server (or serving console) from the Georgian era - featuring a serpentine moulded top with raised gallery back - enclosing two compartments with tambour slides, over an inlaid mahogany frieze with opposing left-facing and right-facing cabinet drawers for wine storage - showing as faux double drawers, and three middle large drawers, all with brass pulls. The top and frieze with boxwood stringing and fine inlay with a foliate design. The whole set upon six tapering legs with spade feet.
