A fine English small chest - unusually of cherrywood - seasoned beautifully over the past two centuries with wonderful color and patina, featuring a moulded top over a frieze of five beaded drawers - two short drawers over three long drawers - each one still retaining its original turned wood knob pull, the bottom three drawers with brass escutcheons, the whole with serpentine base set upon bracket feet.
