A fine English bachelor's small chest of drawers (or side chest) from the Edwardian era, featuring a moulded, shaped top with a beautiful figured veneer of burr walnut, over a serpentine bowed frieze with pull-out bachelor's desk slide and four beaded drawers of ascending size, all with brass escutcheons and hardware, with inlaid edges on drawer fronts and top, flanked by decorative columns, the whole resting on raised bracket feet.

Makes a great bedside cabinet or night stand.
