A fine English sorcerers or bullseye mirror from the 19th century, with nine reverse ground optics and an acid-etched floral border, framed in mahogany.
Sorcerer mirrors were an early 16th century design, used to throw light around via the convex optics, thereby giving them "magical powers" - hence the name alluding to a magician or alchemist.
