A fine English bureau bookcase or secretary (secretaire) of mahogany from the Georgian era. The upper section featuring a shaped cornice and two astragal or lattice glass doors enclosing three adjustable shelves. Set upon a bottom tier with fall front opening to a fitted interior with drawers and pigeon holes.
