A fine French standing console jardiniere or planter trough of mahogany and beech wood with original metal liner. Featuring a rectangular two-tiered frame with four turned legs - the top tier with paneled sides containing a removable metal trough liner with opposing ring pulls, and the lower tier being a shelf with moulded edge.

Its console shape and metal insert lends itself to a variety of uses - might make a great wine or bottle cooler or - with the trough liner removed - can support a marble or stone top.
