A fine French vendange tilt-top table for wine tasting, circa 1900, featuring a round or circular top of handsomely patinated cherry-wood over a decorative lyre design support. The support arm beneath the table is fashioned into a stringed musical lyre, giving a country table a touch of elegance. The side supports are united by a lower cross rail giving extra strength when the table is in use.
