A fine French console jardiniere planter or plant stand table of cherry-wood with original metal liner, featuring a rectangular two-tiered frame with moulded edge, over a paneled top containing a removable metal trough with opposing ring pulls, over a paneled shelf base with four turned legs, each leg with shaped spade feet.

Its console shape and metal insert lends itself to a variety of uses - might make a great wine or bottle cooler or - with the trough liner removed - can support a marble or stone top.
