An exquisite Scottish writing table or console desk of mahogany from the Regency period, featuring a beautifully moulded top with shaped edge and gallery, over a frieze of three drawers. Opposing side drawers are fitted with ebony knob pulls, center drawer showing a beaded edge serpentine front and interior with retractable felt writing surface. The whole upon turned tapering spiral legs.
